who logs into Facebook –
(one new message
and a friend request:
please don't let it be
the strange mop-haired boy
from fourth grade – again:
it's not)
clicks on the little red number
and voila! Inbox:
I read.
Three seconds later:
I am grinning from ear to ear –
my whole body leaps off the chair
I dance because
one Facebook message
made me smile –
me: a slave of technology
and Facebook happiness.
